Project Name: Interterminal Access Road Southern End Works

 

Location: DP World Terminal, Port Botany

 

Client: DP World Sydney

 

DP World Sydney undertook the development of the existing Inter-Terminal Access Road (ITAR) which is adjacent to the eastern boundary of the DP World Port Botany Terminal. The development allowed the section of the ITAR to be incorporated into the terminal operations and improve the operational use of the existing rail sidings. As part of the ITAR works, DP World Sydney engaged Civilcraft to undertake works on the Southern End of the Inter-terminal Access Road.

 

Detailed scope of works:

- Service Investigation Works

- Demolition and excavation of existing pavement

- Preparation and compaction of existing sub-grade

- Construction of new heavy duty sub-base and base course

- Supply and lay new asphalt wearing course

- Supply and lay new weed matt and scoria rock to non-trafficable area

- Construction of new bollards (2 off)

- Construction of new rail buffer stops

- Construction of new security fencing
