Our teams provide an assessment of the structural state of the pavement and can provide recommendations and costings on asphalt pavement resurfacing, patching, rejuvenating or complete reconstruction.

Selection and application of the appropriate method and products are based on the operational use, the extent of oxidation and aging, and the condition of supporting pavement infrastructure. We have our own selection of various structural asphalt mix types, Polymer Modified Bituminous Emulsion (PME) and Fuel Resistant Membranes (FRM) to extend the lifespan of the asphalt pavement surface.

At Civilcraft, we don’t simply fill in potholes as a short-term solution. Our maintenance team take the time to assess and identify the area that needs to be repaired first. We then cut the perimeter, excavate the damaged area, compact the underlying base for a solid foundation, lay and compact the new asphalt and then seal the patch joints to avoid any further water ingress into the pavement. Our team work diligently to hand back the area to an operational condition within a matter of a few hours.

Our rubber bitumen specialist crews apply rubber bitumen bandaging (RBB) to seal cracks and joints in asphalt pavements. This is an essential component of any pavement maintenance programme because it prevents water and contaminant ingress, which is the leading cause of asphalt pavement failures. The earlier and more frequent application of this repair method can significantly increase the overall lifespan of your asphalt pavement.
