Ending the week with an update from ES Marks Athletics Track.
Our team have been busy over the past 2 months constructing a highly complex retaining wall for Centennial Parklands as part of a safety upgrade project.
The wall has been carefully constructed with curves, steps and varying heights up to 4m tall to successfully preserve the beautiful figtrees and surrounding environment which forms an integral part of the historical landscape and visual attraction in the area.
To date, construction of the wall has involved over 2,000m3 of excavated material, 20 tonnes of steel reinforcement and 150m3 of concrete.
Keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks as we near completion of the retaining wall.
