Rike Electrical – Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade

Sydney Airport Corporation Limited (SACL) proposed to develop a site located in Ross Smith Avenue for a new KFC restaurant, Café and car wash facility, requiring electrical infrastructure upgrade. Due to the additional electrical load demand from the new development and the limited capacity available from the existing infrastructure, it was proposed to replace the existing ABB 750 kVA kiosk substation with a new 1500 kVA kiosk substation. Civilcraft was engaged to carry out the related civil works including construction of sand pits, excavation of trenches, installation of conduits and pre-cast pits.
